This week in the studio, the Radio DIVA team are joined by Eastenders’ star Riley Carter Millington, the actor known for playing Kyle Slater in the long-standing BBC soap.
Riley will be joining presenters Rosie Wilby and Heather Peace to talk about his role in Eastenders as well as an upcoming part in Rachel Wagstaff’s adaptation of Sebastian Faulks’ First World War novel Birdsong which embarks on its final UK tour next month.
“I’m looking forward to my first time on Radio DIVA!” Riley said.
“What better way to spend a Tuesday evening than sat between Heather Peace and Rosie Wilby! Can’t wait!”
Alongside Riley, will be northern, folk and Americana musician Gem Andrews. Fresh from her album launch in Newcastle upon Tyne, Gem will be playing music from new album North live in the studio:
“I'm super excited to come and play new songs from North, and also talk about the new album, and the London album launch taking place this Saturday!” Gem told Radio DIVA.
Gem started playing guitar and listening to country music when she was just six years old, and her voice has been compared to that of Patsy Cline, Lucinda Williams and Kate and Anna McGarrigle - but you’ll have to tune in to hear for yourself 🎶

And of course, not forgetting usual suspects Rachel Shelley and Jonathan Phang! Radio DIVA’s “roving reporter”, The L Word’s Rachel Shelley, will be bringing us her newest report, and resident lesbro Jonathan Phang will have the very latest in LGBT news.
Make sure you tune in for another DIVAlicious show.
