She shot to fame starring alongside Robert De Niro in Martin Scorsese’s King Of Comedy. She made TV history playing openly bi character Nancy Bartlett in the hit sitcom Roseanne. She was rumoured to be romantically involved with Madonna.

In short, Sandra Bernhard is a total legend.

And now you have the chance to see this brilliant comedian, film star and L Word cast member in the flesh. She's coming to the UK for a very special performance of her hilarious new show, Sandemonium. It promises to be an event not-to-be-missed, an intoxicating mix of stand-up comedy and rock 'n' roll, with Sandra being joined onstage by the excellent Sandyland Squad Band.

Here’s what the critics have to say about this bonafide show biz icon.

“The show makes one wonder what to make of Bernhard’s distinctive place in the entertainment firmament. She is a show business stalwart of over three decades. Bernhard has evolved into a pop culture fixture, a jack-of-all-trades performer as actress, singer, comedian, and, more recently, a radio show host of SiriusXM’s Sandyland.” - The Daily Beast

“Sandra Bernhard teaches the children—all those burgeoning spoken-word artists and monologists—how to perform observational comedy with style, and right on the political edge.” - The New Yorker

"Bernhard knows what her audience wants, and she has them eating out of the palm of her hand from the second she walks onstage. There's no greater joy than watching a masterful comedian feed off her crowd and give it right back to them in the form of an evening that's as hilarious as it is truthful." - TheaterMania

“Bernhard has musicality to die for, a voice that swoops from the bluesy basement to a top floor falsetto." - Los Angeles Times

Sandra Bernhard will be performing Sandemonium on Thursday 22 and Friday 23 February at Ronnie Scotts. For more info and tickets look here.
