🎭 Ed Fringe 2018: Prom Kween

β€œGrab your glitter, any preconceived notions about prom kweens, and throw them into the air with gay abandon!" πŸ‘‘

From the producer of Margaret Thatcher Queen Of Soho and How To Win Against History, join Matthew and co. on a hilarious satirical journey back in time to the mystical world of 2016, and the heady days before Trump and Brexit (sigh, sigh, sigh).

Prom Kween is based on a true story about Matthew Crisson, (Bart Edwards) the first nonbinary kid to aim for the hottest crown in the United States... you guessed it — Prom Queen!

Discover how their peers react to their plight, and whether the Hairy Godmother can indeed make dreams come true.

With plenty of cleverly timed references to popular culture, Prom Kween is a funny and interactive musical brimming with talent, and very much deserved of five fabulous stars!

This one will definitely be up there in the highlights of Edinburgh’s 2018 Fringe, trust me, I'm a... Debs.

Prom Kween runs at Assembly George Square Gardens as part of Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2018 @ 21:05 daily from 1-12, 14-26 August 2018. For further information and tickets please visit edfringe.com
