BRIGHTON PRIDE

Now we've just about recovered from Pride In London, it's time to start thinking about Brighton Pride...

For those in the know, Brighton Pride is the even sparklier (eco friendly glitter, of course) version of Pride.

This year's festival of love and equality has it all, from the shimmering fabulousness of the parade, through to some top dance floor action come nightfall. Not to mention numerous opportunities for a dip in the sea or a cocktail overlooking Brighton beach — sounds alright, eh?

But just what's the low down on the after parties to one of the UK's biggest Pride events?

Official Pride After Party with Horse Meat Disco

Horse Meat Disco, YouTube

Once you're suitably celebrated-out from the day time festivities, those that know will be heading to Patterns, Brighton's sea-facing club for a basement party with international renowned DJ collective, Horse Meat Disco.

The queer party for everyone — homos and heteros, club kids, bears, fashionistas, naturists, guerilla drag queens, and ladies who munch. A disco behemoth of classics, italo disco, house, oddities and punk funk. DJs Severino, Luke Howard and guests get set to strut their sequinned stuff all night long. No party at Pride will be as sensational or as glitter-filled as Horse Meat Disco.

Sunday Sundae Pride Reunion

Patterns, Brighton

Expect nothing but smiles and sunshine as this infamous terrace party delivers 12 hours of non-stop Miami style clubbing at Patterns seafront terrace.

Sunday Sundae is the original gay tea dance you need to attend to believe. It's your first stop for sexy alfresco terrace partying and cool underground clubbing and is a guaranteed roadblock event, "utterly fabulous and hot, hot, hot".

With gorge terrace views of the city’s iconic coastline, the weekend's biggest disco ball, and bespoke state-of-the-art sound systems all ensuring you can immerse yourself in two floors of fabulousness, be it above on the Balearic terrace or below in the basement with its hedonist vibes.
