Lots Holloway's debut single is exactly what we need right now

Say hello to your new favourite singer.

Ok, we have a confession to make. We are a little bit obsessed with alt-pop star Lots Holloway.

Take a listen to the gay singer’s debut single and you’ll understand why. World’s On Fire is meaningful, catchy and hella relevant. Lots wrote the song last summer in reaction to “the crazy whirlwind” of global events.

In an exclusive chat with DIVA she revealed, “It was a domino effect of sad and tragic and weird events - Brexit, the Orlando shooting, Bastille Day attacks, the refugee crisis, the US presidential battle… I just felt like I needed to talk about it and if I want to do that, I always write it down in a song.”

The result is a stunning and stirring tune that we’re playing on repeat. Watch the epic video below.

Make sure you keep up to date with Lots on Twitter @lotsholloway. She’s only just getting started.

World's On Fire is available now on Spotify, iTunesGoogle Play and Tidal.
