Just when we thought the DIVA 250 Awards party couldn't get any better, we found out that hilarious actress and star of Absolutely Fabulous, Jennifer Saunders, will be presenting one of our coveted awards, along with her fabulous co-star Harriet Thorpe.

Celebrating 250 issues of DIVA magazine, the DIVA 250 Awards honour gay and bi women, together with our allies, for their outstanding contribution to the lesbian and bicommunity across entertainment, politics, business and sport.

Jennifer told us: “Harriet and I are very excited about the DIVA Awards - with us thrown into the mix, amongst such wonderful company, it's guaranteed to be a very memorable night!"

Award nominees include the SNP’s Mhairi Black MP, boxing champ Nicola Adams MBE, broadcaster Jane Hill and model Cara Delevingne, with entertainment on the night provided by Heather Peace and Saara Aalto.

DIVA publisher Linda Riley said: “We’re so excited to be hosting the lesbian event of the year – if not the decade – and thrilled to be joined by Jennifer and Harriet for our celebrations. I’m fully expecting an absolutely fabulous evening.”

The awards will take place at London's Cafe de Paris on 23 March. If you haven't already, you can book your ticket for the party of the year at diva250awards.com now.
