DIVA Power List 2019 will take place on Lesbian Visibility Day ✨

Celebrating lez/bi achievement, DIVA's yearly event will take place in London on #LDoV

On Friday 26 April 2019, known internationally as Lesbian Day Of Visibility, DIVA Power List returns – and it's bigger and better than ever!

While lesbian, bisexual and trans women are more visible than ever before – whether that's within the realm of business, politics, the arts, the media, sport or anywhere else – in some circles, our voices remain marginalised, and our life experiences dismissed.

Too many of us have to work doubly hard to smash through those still-present glass ceilings...

Step forward the DIVA Power List 2019, where we'll be celebrating some of the fantastic women from within our community, people who are doing everything in their power to make life that little bit better for the lesbian, bisexual, trans and intersex communities.

Sometimes that's through hours of campaigning, speaking at international events or writing for publications across the globe...

Other times, it's simply that person being themselves – both are acts of bravery deserving of recognition.

DIVA Power List 2019 will launch on 26th April, Lesbian Visibility Day, but also the 25th anniversary of DIVA magazine first being published (Amazing stuff, right?)

Help make our silver anniversary a belter by casting your vote at divapowerlist.com. Let's make sure your voice, and our voices, are heard.

Nominations will close on 1 March 2019. Follow DIVA magazine on Twitter @DIVAmagazine. From Team DIVA, thank you to everyone for participating.

Only reading DIVA online? You're missing out. For more news, reviews and commentary, check out the latest issue. It's pretty badass, if we do say so ourselves.
