Here in the DIVA office, we can't wait for the inaugural DIVA Literary Festival. It’s going to be a fantastic weekend full of the very best in LBT+ literature, featuring panels, workshops and interviews with some amazing authors including Val McDermid, Stella Duffy OBE and Kiki Archer.

The whole event kicks off on Friday 3 November with the first ever DIVA Literary Awards. We can now reveal that the one and only Heather Peace will be hosting this spectacular awards show and dinner. Not only that, but the actress, singer, DIVA columnist and Radio DIVA host will also be performing a live music set on during the Saturday evening entertainment.

Heather told us, "I'm thrilled to have been asked to host the first Diva Literary Festival in November and perform for the guests on the Saturday night. It's an honour to be involved in celebrating and recognising the wealth of talent we have in our community."
