We are delighted to announce that one of our all-time favourite singer-songwriters, the amazing Lucy Spraggan, will be performing at the DIVA Literary Festival's Saturday Night Salon.

In case you haven’t heard, the inaugural DIVA Literary Festival is happening the first weekend in November and it’s set to be a glorious, fun-filled celebration of the very best in lesbian, bi and trans women’s writing.

The event team have an incredible programme lined up, including panel discussions, in-depth author interviews, workshops and Friday night’s DIVA Literary Awards hosted by the one and only Heather Peace. Then on Saturday it's the Saturday Night Salon, an evening of cabaret-style entertainment, including music, comedy and spoken word. Lucy is our headline act and she’ll finish off the night in style, treating us all to a live set.

She told us:

"I'm over the moon to be headlining this year's DIVA Literary Festival in Birmingham. It should be a fabulous night!"

We're over the moon too and can't wait to watch her performance.

And don’t forget, there’s still time to vote in the DIVA Literary Festival Awards. Categories include LBT Fiction, Romance, Crime, Poetry, Non-fiction, Memoir-Autobiography, One To Watch and Lifetime Achievement. Make sure you get behind your favourite author by submitting your nominations here.

The DIVA Literary Festival takes place Friday 3 – Sunday 5 November at the Hilton Metropole, NEC Birmingham. For more info visit: divaliteraryfestival.com.
