This week in the Radio DIVA studio, Rosie and Heather chat to Olivier Award-nominated singer and actor, Adèle Anderson.

Best known as a member of the acclaimed cabaret group Fascinating Aïda for which they co-write much of the group’s material (along with founder member Dillie Keane), Adèle has made numerous television appearances and radio recordings, released seven CDs, two videos, an autobiography and a songbook (...ooph!)

Adele will be headlining Polari at London Southbank Centre on 16 February as part of this year’s LGBT history month, something they'll be chatting more about on air...

“I am really looking forward to talking to Rosie and Heather about my forthcoming appearance at Polari, where I will be reading my memories of my early life”, Adèle told DIVA.

“On Tuesday I'll be talking about that, my successful recovery from cancer and my recent accreditation as a humanist wedding celebrant. And if there's time, we may even touch on Fascinating Aida.”

The Radio DIVA team also meet Rachael Smith, producer of Conquest, a show described as “Fight Club meets Calendar Girls”, exploring the minefield of ethical sexual relations. Conquest runs from 21-25 February as part of London’s Vault Festival

Plus! Rachel Shelley celebrates the centenary of The Representation of the People Act, which gave some women in the UK the right to vote for the first time, and Rena Brannen reviews Collective Rage: A Play in Five Betties.

And of course, our fabulous "lesbro" Jonathan Phang will be back with the latest LGBT headlines from OutNews Global. Make sure you tune in and join the conversation by tweeting @RadioDIVA104_4 πŸŽ™οΈ

Listen live to Radio DIVA at 6.30pm every Tuesday (on Resonance 104.4FM and DAB in London and online at player.resonancefm.com) or catch up anytime at mixcloud.com/resonance.
