Breath in, everyone - it's almost the end of January (...and breath out). Helping you ride out the first month of 2018 is Radio DIVA, and what a lovely line up the team have booked in this week.
"We're really excited to be on Radio DIVA tomorrow!" The LOL Word team told Radio DIVA earlier.
"We'll be talking about our two regular comedy nights, The LOL Word and The Shelf Word, as well as our new show Straight. We figured since we named two nights after The L Word, our new show had to keep people guessing!"
Um WOW you guys. Last night’s show was absolutely killer!— The LOL Word (@lolwordcomedy) 26 January 2018
Totally sold out and such wonderful vibes, thanks to all who joined us for the maiden voyage!
PLUS we raised over £130 for ELOP, an LGBT counselling & support centre. Pats on the back all round 🏳️🌈👏🏽👏🏾👏🏻 pic.twitter.com/SsrCL3eECx
Filmmaker and Pride in London festival curator Linda Mason will also be in the studio talking to the Radio DIVA team about her film, Out Of Love. Alongside Linda will be Jac Nunns from the lesbian-run Queer Bee Film Festival who are programming Out Of Love as part of a touring evening of shorts about faith.

On top of all of that, The L Word's Rachel Shelley meets the London Royals LGBT Hockey Club, and DIVA Deputy Editor Roxy will be popping in to reveal what's in between the covers of the new issue of DIVA Magazine.
And of course, our fabulous "lesbro" Jonathan Phang will be back with the latest LGBT headlines from OutNews Global. Make sure you tune in and join the conversation by tweeting @RadioDIVA104_4 🎙️
While you’re here…
Resonance FM, host to Radio DIVA, celebrates its sixteenth anniversary this year, and with it, the team hope to consolidate, refine and grow as an organisation. To be able to do that, they urgently need to relocate studios and broadcasting gear, as the current site is being redeveloped - at considerable cost. Hence a fundraising target of £100,000.
The move will also allow Resonance FM to expand their facilities and become a central hub for expressive and discursive mass communication.
Our dedicated Annual Fundraiser website is now live: https://t.co/eW5qHSZ53C We are trying to raise money to move our studios. Do chip in! And check out our forthcoming live events: pic.twitter.com/OAIsAw7Ngf— Resonance FM (@ResonanceFM) 18 January 2018
"We want to make this fascinating and successful experiment a sustainable, on-going concern - one which grows in proportion to its seemingly unlimited potential", the Resonance team told DIVA.
"And we want to build a vital legacy which informs, entertains, inspires and encourages more people of all backgrounds and ages to create, experience and enjoy the best possible radio."
Be part of Radio DIVA's future now. Join in our Fundraiser!
