PUTTING WOMEN IN MUSIC FIRST.

The first ever DIVA Music Festival – a groundbreaking weekend of women-fronted music – takes place next month from Friday 30 November – Sunday 2 December 2018 in Great Yarmouth.

The festival is all but set to be a lez/bi/queer women’s DREAM – and we want you there with us.

Taking over a well-loved holiday park, festival-goers can expect a whole host of live, female-fronted music, fun, entertainment, community and competitions all within a friendly, safe and inclusive LGBTQ+ centered environment – DIVA Music Festival is something of a first.

In fact, earlier this year, BBC Reality Check looked at the biggest festivals in the UK by attendance and analysed their posters to see how they were doing with gender representation so far. This is what they found:

“Of 756 acts advertised on the posters of nine UK festivals, 77% were all male. Another 9% were groups with more male than female members.” Convinced yet?

At this year's first ever event, attendees can expect an all-star line-up including – KT Tunstall, Gabrielle, Heather Peace, Charlotte Carpenter, Caitlyn Scarlet, Lots Holloway, Sarah Walk, Emily Burns, Toya Delazy, Kimberly Anne, Hannah Trigwell, Grace Petrie, Horse McDonald, Lucy Whittaker, Fuzzy Jones and much, much more...

Launched by the team behind DIVA magazine, DMF18 (that's DIVA Music Festival to you and me) has also been co-founded and produced by musician, actor, Radio DIVA presenter and lez/bi royalty, Heather Peace, fresh from her Hey Mayhem tour.

So – how can you get your hands on four free tickets to the festival PLUS a discount on your accommodation? Look no further, friends...
