Queer poet Rachel Gleason releases powerful video on growing up LGBT

And itโ€™s giving us all the feels ๐Ÿ’•

Michigan-based spoken word artist, Rachel Gleason, has released Rambo Renegades - a powerful and intimate look into the poet's experiences of gender identity.

She says her inspiration for the beautiful poem came from her childhood, where she says, she was never taught to see the strength in herself as a woman, as well as the struggles of coming to terms of her sexuality.

The artist hopes this poem can be used to show young women that they are strong and powerful, regardless of what they have been taught about themselves.โ€‹

Beautiful work, Rachel ๐Ÿ’•
