Break out the prison hooch; Ruby Rose is back in OITNB

Do your best to stay calm but Ruby Rose, aka Stella Carlin, aka queer heartthrob numero uno, is apparently returning to OITNB.

She stole the hearts of Piper, a million bicurious women and, lezbehonest, us during her steamy season 3 debut. Who can forget that shower scene and just about every time she did this?

Sadly, Stella’s Litchfield stay was short-lived. After a whirlwind romance with drug-mule-turned-muffia-boss Piper, she got carted off to max for knicking all her knicker dosh.

Although Stella reappeared for an all-too brief cameo last season, we’ve been experiencing serious withdrawal. Symptoms include obsessively stalking Ruby Rose’s Instagram and randomly howling “Stella!” like we’re in a West End production of A Streetcar Named Desire.

But today we can all rejoice because it looks like Ruby of the Roses is returning. An insider told Confidential magazine, “She’s back together with all the girls on the show.” They added, “They even went to Elton John’s Oscars Party together in March.” The article went on to say that Stella would be returning for the second half of season 5, bringing about a major shake-up for the inmates.

Excited much? Taylor Schilling knows just how you feel.

Although Ruby herself is yet to confirm this incredibly exciting rumour for definite, it's still one more reason we can't wait until 9 June.

Check out the S5 trailer now to get you in the mood.
