Forget going Christmas shopping - from 18-20 November aspiring
filmmakers are invited to join up to 150 other creatives and take
on the challenge of writing, shooting and finishing a 2 minute 20
second film over 2.8 days at Left Eye Blind studios in Holbeck,
Leeds.
The project is a great opportunity for amateur filmmakers to
work alongside industry professionals (including Jo Adamson,
casting director for Northern Spirit Creative), who'll be
delivering workshops covering all aspects of the film-making
process in addition to mentoring filmmakers as they create their
films.
The films will be judged by a panel of media experts including
Barry Ryan (Warp Films of This is England and Four Lions fame),
Howard Dawson (formerly of Film Lab North) and Everyman Media Group
CEO Andrew Myers. The winning film will be shown across Everyman
cinemas.
