As we mentioned yesterday, musician and actress Heather Peace
has announced that her UK tour documentary will launch as a four
part webseries on Monday 20 June.
You'll be able to access the series via Heather's website
So, what can we look forward to? The documentary, made by
filmmaker Patrick Stutt of Shoebox Media and co-produced by Wire
Media, will give fans an access all areas look at Heather's sell
out 12 date tour which took place in April 2011 from Belfast to
London. There will be exclusive backstage footage, twelve full
length songs and viewers will be able to share the ups and downs of
living life on a tour bus.
Heather Peace said: "As soon as we announced the tour we were
asked by fans to make a DVD, but because I love that I have such a
positive community of support online, we thought it would make more
sense to make it a web series. This way, people can watch it
wherever they are in the world, as many times as they like, and
then they can talk to me and each other about it straight
afterwards on Twitter and Facebook."
Filmmaker Patrick Stutt added: "All four episodes were shot in
two weeks and I had unrestricted access. I travelled in the tour
bus, stayed in the same hotels and ate the same crappy food.
Hopefully what you get is a real representation of what it is like
for an independent artist on the road - with her dad as the
driver."
The webseries will launch on a brand new version of
heatherpeace.com on June 20 at 12 noon. Each episode will be priced
at £1.50 or £4.99 for all four. Fans can watch each episode as many
times as they like for up to three months.
