Ever since we heard about Jessie J being a mentor on new BBC
programme The Voice we were wondering how we could get a few more
queers involved in the contest. And then when the BBC contacted us
asking if we could let you know about the auditions, we were happy
to oblige.
The series, which has already been a hit in the US, will launch
in the spring on BBC One.
Jessie J recently told the BBC's own Newsbeat: "It's all about
the voice. I love the idea of being a coach and a mentor and not a
judge. I wanted to be involved. They approached me and I was well
up for it."
So the next step is to take part! If you're a singer with real
talent and an amazing vocal ability you should seriously consider
joining in the BBC's new entertainment phenomenon of 2012, The
VoiceUK. They're looking for applicants who boast a genuinely
fantastic singing voice. Whether you're a solo artist or duo,
TheVoice UKis giving you the opportunity to compete to sing in
front of four critically acclaimed celebrity recording artists.
