Jessie J is one of the hottest pop-stars on the planet at the
moment, and when you listen to her next single Laserlight featuring
David Guetta, you can understand why. This is a pretty much perfect
dance track, a magnificent electro-house-ballad featuring Guetta's
signature thumping beats and Jessie's powerful vocal. It is
incredibly catchy and has summer hit written all over it. What with
this track and the sunny weather the last few days and it being
Friday, we're feeling rather jublilant, actually.
Laserlight, which is a new track featured on the Platinum
Edition of her triple-platinum selling album Who You Are, is set
for release 13 May, but you can listen to it now, below. If you're
anything like us, you'll find yourself listening a few
times....
P.S. Jessie J has a bunch of UK festival appearances lined up this
summer, and will also be putting her coaching skills to good use on
the BBC's primetime Saturday night talent show The Voice. In June
she will be hitting the stage at Buckingham Palace for the Queen's
Jubilee celebrations alongside Sir Paul McCartney & Sir Elton
John. Hmm, that reminds us... must chase up those tickets.
