Interviewed in this month's DIVA about music, fame and her
break-up with actress Tammy Lynn Michaels, rocker Melissa Etheridge
will be arriving in Europe for her Fearless Love tour any day now.
Etheridge is likely to be immediately recognisable to lesbians (and
non-lesbians for that matter) who were out of nappies in the 80s
and/or 90s, who will recall that she was one of the first
celebrities to be open about her orientation. They'll also recall
Etheridge's confessional rock hits like Bring Me Some Water, Come
To My Window and I'm The Only One (watch this below if you want
to). She is basically the female Bruce Springsteen. But I'm
starting to go off-track.
For those who might be keen to catch her in concert, Etheridge
is set to play Dublin on 14 February, Manchester on 16 February,
London on 17 February and Brighton on 19 February. A full list of
European dates, venues and suchlike is available at her
website:

You might also like to keep an eye out for her interview in the
current issue of DIVA, where she speaks very candidly about her
break-up with Tammy Lynn, among other things.
