Like many Tegan and Sara fans, we're excited to hear that the
talented singer-songwriters are back in the studio right now,
recording a new album. According to their website, they're working
with a "whole whack of different musicians" and a few different
producers. Tegan writes: "Sara and I are trying to step outside of
our comfort zones and push ourselves to the extreme with this one
so get ready for a whole new T+S sound!" Can't wait to hear it!
In the meantime, however, the duo are making chatty Carpool
Confessional videos as they commute to the studio. The second
episode, posted on their website a few days ago, is a good one;
anyone who has seen their shows knows just how funny and engaging
they are, and they don't disappoint here with a lot of silliness
and a very nice reworking of Somewhere Out There which turns into a
song about fellow musician Sia and her grown-up voice.
