If you're a regular reader of DIVA magazine, you'll probably
have spotted our review of Cat Power's new album Sun in the
September issue. We've been listening to it rather a lot over the
last few weeks; Ruin and 3,6,9 have been on a bit of a loop for one
of us from time to time, actually. Our music reviewer Sarah-Jane
described the album in her review in the magazine as "a sublime
album that fuses [Cat's] trademark southern soul with hypnotic pop
and upbeat rock" and we think she's right. It's very, very
catchy.
