Bisexual singer-songwriter Wallis Bird, who is interviewed in
the March issue of DIVA (the issue currently on sale), heads out on
tour in May, and we're told she'll perform stripped back versions
of songs from her latest album (her third) which is self-titled and
out on 9 March. The shows will follow a full-band album launch
party at London's famed Dingwalls in April.
Check out her new single Encore, below, and the current issue of
the magazine for an interview with her, why not?
Bird Trivia: Wallis' unique guitar playing
style was developed as a consequence of a childhood accident which
permanently damaged her left hand. She learned to play her
instrument flipped back to front, meaning she had to create her own
complex chord fingerings.
