Beach-lovers take note: following two successful years, the
third L-BEACH festival is only a month or so away!
Taking place at Weissenhäuser Strand on the Baltic Sea from
20-22nd April 2012, more than 4,000 national and international
visitors are expected at this unique weekend which features live
acts, DJs, cultural events, fun happenings, sports and, of course,
lots of beach.
This year's festival will be opened by the US-band BETTY, before
the first headliner goes on stage in the late hours: chart-topper
Frida Gold (Zeig Mir Wie Du Tanzt and Wovon Sollen Wir Träumen, the
Women's World Cup hit). Pop icon Kim Wilde will also be there on
Saturday, singing songs from her new album Snapshots.
Fans of The L Word's Dylan will be pleased to note that the
festival will be presented by an international trio consisting of
the US actress Alexandra Hedison (who played Dylan on TLW, of
course), comedian Anika Hoffmann from Berlin and moderator Shirin
Valentine (VIVA, Sky).
New this year is The Erotic Lounge and the VIP pass. All the
