If you like alternative music, queer short films and fancy
attending a "start your own record label" workshop, we have a great
event for your diary: Pussy Whipped, a two-day celebration of
underground queer-feminist culture that's taking place in Edinburgh
next month.
The festival will showcase 10 mind-blowing queer and/or female
fronted/dominated bands, with the aim of proving that although our
voices are still often sidelined in alternative music culture, we
have some of the most talented voices on the underground. They will
also be hosting queer films and workshops, with a few crazy
surprises thrown in!
Pussy Whipped has been hosting quirky live music queer-feminist
events since late 2011, and it has quickly become one of the live
music events in Edinburgh.
Tickets are limited to 150 due to venue capacity, and they expect
to fully sell out.
Tickets available from: wegottickets.com
Find the event on Facebook here: Pussy
Whipped Facebook page
A full weekend ticket is a measly £7, to keep the festival as
accessible as possible.
