Dig deep into the past and discover the hidden history of LGBT people at this training event for keen  archivists. Hear from speakers about how best to use archives to find a wealth of gay evidence, where to start looking and what to do when you've found it. Buffet and refreshments provided.

Comedy Festival @ The Y

DIVA fave Rosie Wilby (pictured) joins a host of talent kicking off Leicester's comedy festival at The Y. Stand-up from Topping and Butch, Sarah Kenney and the festival's award nominee Suzi Ruffel is brought together by host Jonathon Mayor in a night of wit, satire and a lot of laughter.

LGBT East End Walk @ Liverpool Street

A history month special, this guided tour takes you through the streets of Spitalfields and Whitechapel to explore the colourful nature of the area's LGBT past, from Jeanette Winterson to Christopher Marlowe.  Group meets outside the Bishopsgate entrance to tube station, 2pm, trip £5.
