Still not bought all your presents? Don't worry, we've found you an online hamper you can order until 22 December for next day delivery

Mon, 19 Dec 2011 09:36:09 GMT | Updated 1 years today

The Laithwaites Festive Indulgence hamper is a truly indulgent collection of bestselling wines and wickedly moreish nibbles.

A stylish red seagrass basket generously packed with savoury and sweet delights, plus three full-flavoured Italian bestsellers including fine festive fizz, this hamper is a perfect gift for friends, family and clients and it's available to order until 1pm on Thursday 22 December (for next day delivery).

You may not know it - we didn't - but Laithwaites are the world's largest wine merchant and 92% of their wines are exclusive to them. They offer a vast selection of wines from 22 countries, for affordable everyday drinking, or the very best fine wines for special occasions.

And if for whatever reason you don't enjoy the wine, they offer a no risk, no quibble returns policy. What's more if you are stuck for what wine to buy or just need some general wine advice, Laithwaites has a team of expert personal wine advisors available for you to speak to and help you make your decision. Laithwaites has no minimum purchase so customers can buy any number they like, ie single bottles or by the case.

Here's a list of the full hamper contents: Il Papavero Sparkling Pinot Grigio NV, Il Papavero Primitivo 2009, Il Papavero Pinot Grigio 2010, Furniss Traditionally Baked Shortbread Fingers, Hames White Chocolate Bar with Mixed Berries, Highfield Preserves Cranberry & Claret Jelly, Olives Et Al Classic Olives with Chilli, Garlic & Pepper, The Dormen Dry Roasted Peanuts, Mondovino Bambino Black Olive Crackers, The Original Cake Company Dark Rich Fruit Iced Slab, Just Chocolates Chocolate Selection, Maxwell & Franks Christmas Pudding, Haribo Jelly Beans. That little lot is enough to keep you fully sated until at least, er Boxing Day although judging by the scare-mongering on a certain British newspaper you might be best storing some of the non-perishables for the imminent bleak times ahead...

Customers can order online at www.laithwaites.co.uk or via phone 0845 194 7720. Addresses for the Laithwaites shops can be found on their website.

NOT included in the hamper but nice foodie things we liked (and pictured bottom right) are:

LUXURY CHEESE BISCUITS

The cheeseboard has to be one of the best Christmas traditions, so don't ruin it with boring old crackers. The East India Company's mustard and coriander biscuits are perfect with soft cheeses, bringing a light hint of coriander and piquant touch of mustard.

£4.95 for 150g from www.theeastindiacompanyfinefood.com

BEST BALSAMIC VINEGAR EVER

This balsamic vinegar is so good the Italians call it "black gold". Made from a traditional recipe by the Tagliavini family in Soliera, northern Italy, the L'Affinato vinegar is 12 years old. Its age gives it the depth and complexity you'd expect to find in a fine wine - just the slightest drizzle is required to transform a dish. The perfect present for serious foodies.

12 year old L'Affinato balsamic vinegar, £36 per 100ml from www.demijohn.co.uk
