The star, who recently launched a singing career and is married
to Coldplay singer Chris Martin, told the Telegraph newspaper that
the subject matter arose when same and opposite-sex families met at
her daughter's London school.
The American actress, 38, said: "When my daughter came home from
school one day saying that a classmate had two mummies, my response
was, 'Two mummies? How lucky is she?'"
Paltrow, who has often supported gay equality, also waded into
the debate about Christianity and homosexuality.
She added: "What does it actually say in the Bible that will
cause some people to be upset by my line of thinking?"
