The young actress - who plays Sian Powers in the ITV1 soap -
says the Fight For This Love star recently praised her and co-star
Brooke Vincent for their acclaimed on-screen portrayal.
She told the Daily Star: "Cheryl Cole came up to me and Brooke
and said she really liked us. That was amazing.
"When people stop me in the street and thank me, it's really
lovely. We've had a lot of fan mail from people saying it's nice to
have something on telly they can finally relate to."
Powers and Vincent recently graced the cover of DIVA
magazine.
She added: "Our biggest worry with this storyline is that we
might laugh or get embarrassed and spoil our friendship by not
being mature about the situation.
"People thought if you weren't friends, if you didn't know each
other, it would be a lot to just go in, do it and come back
out.
"But I think it's worked better with us being friends because
we're a lot more comfortable about trying new things and just going
for it, rather than being a bit wary of each other."
