The duo, who play Sophie Webster and Sian Powers in the
long-running ITV show, were pictured filming Parkinson's dramatic
exit scene yesterday.
Rumour suggests they try to flee Weatherfield in a bid to salvage
their relationship, but the plan is thwarted by Vincent's on-screen
mother and sister, Sally and Rosie Webster.
According to the Daily Mail, the actresses were seen excitedly
running towards a coach destined for Carlisle with their luggage in
tow as part of the location shoot.
Apparently, it is unknown whether or not Sophie attempts to
dramatically drive the coach herself as she was pictured sitting in
the drivers seat during filming.
Nineteen year-old Parkinson is one of four actors who are leaving
the show.
An insider on the soap said: "It's all change at Corrie. We are
always looking to mix things up to keep the show feeling fresh.
"Sacha has decided to do something different, and we wish her
the best. She has been so great in her role as Sian, in the soap's
first lesbian relationship. Sacha is a very talented and very young
actress. She has her whole career in front of her."
The other actors to be leaving are: Will Thorp, Holly
Quin-Ankrah and Russ Finton Flynn.
