The pair - known only as Apple and Thomas - had a traditional
Chinese wedding ceremony in Batu Pahat, late last week.
Shortly after, a fan page on Facebook was opened and quickly
began to attract messages of congratulations - from both friends
and complete strangers.
Within days, thousands of well-wishers joined the group adding
their support to the couple's nuptuals.
"I wish my family would accept my girlfriend so that we, too,
can get married one day," stated Facebook user Tan Mei Qi,
according to MyStar.com.
She said the couple were an inspiration to her, adding that she
would not give up on her own lesbian relationship.
Others added that their actions were "compelling" and
"romantic".
Despite the attention, the couple - both property brokers - have
refused to respond to the messages of support.
