Another day, another women's weekender bites the dust... In
shock news today GoGo organisers cancelled the popular women's
weekender due to take place 8-10 June 2012. The news comes just
after LadyRock organisers pulled the plug on the North West's
inaugural women's rock music festival.
The line-up included acts such as Stooshe (pictured), Peaches,
Uh Huh Her, BETTY and Jill Jackson
"It is with deep regret that we are announcing the cancellation
of GO.GO Festival 2012," said GoGo organisers Katie Sampson and
Becky Woodbine. "2012 has proved to be a very challenging year, and
due to this we do not feel we would be able to deliver a festival
to the standard that our artists and audience deserve. We have
fought very hard to keep GO.GO Festival in the 2012 calendar and
have tried everything imaginable to find a solution to make the
festival go ahead, but this has proven to be an impossible
task."
Ticket holders will be refunded.
