Singer Jessie J has denied rumours she is gay, following
allegations which made newspaper headlines yesterday.
As reported on DIVA yesterday, a new book on the Domino pop star
claims that she was advised to conceal her attraction to women by
record company bosses.
The unofficial new publication, entitled Jessie J: Who's Laughing
Now, says that she wa asked to declare herself as bisexual, rather
than gay.
The biography, written by Chloe Govan, claims she has deceived
fans and is actually homosexual - not bisexual.
According to the Daily Mail, Govan writes that Jessie went along
with the charade because she was scared of losing her record
contract with Universal.
Universal have not responded to the allegations, which are
unconfirmed.
But the Price Tag singer has now responded to these claims on
her Twitter account, declaring they are false.
She wrote: 'Its funny how many people I've dated\slept with that
I've never even met according to the tabloids. BUT what's that?!
*whispers because it's a secret* I'm really a lesbian?! Ha! Thanks
for writing yet another boring untrue story.'
The 24-year-old has previously spoken openly about her past
relationships, admitting that she has dated people of both
sexes.
"If I like someone and I like them, I don't care if they're a
boy or a girl," she said.
