Beverly McClellan and Vicci Martinez made the final four in the singing competition which drew to a close last night, but ultimately lost out to Javier Colon.

In the season finale, Vicci Martinez - who was mentored by Cee Lo Green - sang a duet with Train's Pat Monahan.

Meanwhile, McLellan performed with US band OneRepublic on their track Good Life.

Winner Javier Colon performed the song Landslide with Stevie Nicks - a duet which has since been described as "one of the best reality show duets" in recent history.

Colon will now receive a record contract with Universal Republic Records and a $100,000 prize.

The show, which is not dissimilar to X Factor, features Christina Aguilera, Maroon 5's Adam Levine and Cee-Lo Green.
