Madonna's eagerly-anticipated performance at yesterday's U.S.
Super Bowl has been hailed a hit by several fellow celebrities.
The star performed her new single Gimme All Your Luvin' at the
annual sporting event before a global audience of millions.
The 12-minute set - which opened with 90's hit Vogue - featured
a host of guest appearances from the likes of Cee-Lo Green, LMFAO,
M.I.A. and Nicki Minaj.
According to Contact Music, fellow performers including Pink,
Steve Martin, Reba Mcentire and Estelle all took to micro-blogging
site Twitter to praise the 53 year-old.
Lesbian icon Pink said: "She does less, and yet she's so much
more... Madonna".
Meanwhile, country music star Reba MCEntire said: "Madonna did a
fantastic job on the Super Bowl Half Time show!! She is amazing!!!
Great job!!!! Loved it!!!!!"
British chart-topper Estelle declared: "I want to see no other
performances for half time ever. Anywhere in the world. CeeLo.
Nicki Minaj and Lmfao. Seamless too".
Author, actor and comedian Steve Martin wrote: "Congrats to
Madonna for great spot, especially considering game has resumed
during last three minutes."
Finally, Will.i.am wrote: "I thought Madonna rocked... that
stage was amazing... I'm proud of my guys Lmfao... Madonna is a
legend."
