Hollywood lesbian film the Kids Are
All Right - which starred Annette Bening and Julianne Moore -
will become a weekly series on American cable station HBO.
According to Deadline.com, the new
show will be an hour-long, weekly adaptation of the Academy
Award-nominated hit.
Lisa Cholodenko, who directed the
original film, will write the pilot episode - which is said to
"continue the adventures of the five main
characters,".
The movie's original producers will
also contribute to the series.
The film, which also stars Mark
Ruffalo, follows the story of their children tracking down their
biological father and bringing him into the family's lives.
The film, which cost $4 million (£2.5 million) to make, grossed
more than $25 million worldwide.
