Registration is now open for this year's LGBT History Month pre-launch, which will be held at The Kia Oval, Kennington in South London.

The all-day event starts in the morning with a series of Equality in Sports practice sessions and is followed by a mid-afternoon discussion with Sports Minister, Hugh Robertson.

Megan Worthing-Davies of the Justin Campaign will also feature to talk about the football v homophobia campaign in LGBT History Month. Equalities Minister Lynn Faetherstone will also speak about the government's plans for sport and LGBT inclusion.

Following this, there will be a show by the Pink Triangle Theatre, followed by an evening session with a range of events and speakers.

"We have much to be proud of since last year with gay sports stars coming out and the government launching their charter against homophobia and transphobia," says Sue Sanders.

"Be sure to join us on this exciting and important day".

Tickets for all or any of the sessions are still free and can be booked at Eventbrite by clicking here: http://www.eventbrite.co.uk/org/253875777?s=5344760
