American actress and singer Sandra Bernhard has guest starred in
the new season of hit comedy Hot In Cleveland, this week.
The show, which is co-produced by Will & Grace's Sean Hayes
and stars Betty White, centers on three past-their-prime
entertainment industry veterans from Los Angeles who accidentally
relocate to Ohio.
Bernhard, who also appeared in Will & Grace, featured in the 7
December episode as a lesbian who gets involved with one of the
main characters, played by Valerie Bertinelli.
When AOL TV asked Bernhard why her fans would enjoy it, she said:
"Well, because I am one of the great comedic actresses on
television.
"I always bring my inimitable style and twists to every part and
you don't get to see enough of me, so when I'm there, you better
take advantage of it."
Bernhard plays Nan, the girlfriend of San Giacomo's
character.
"I end up hitting on Valerie Bertinelli and then break up with
Laura San Giacomo, who is my girlfriend, who is also fabulous,"
Bernhard said.
