Sound-system seller sues Lohan over alleged $1,200 unpaid bill

The much-maligned performer - who was rumoured to be dating Samantha Ronson - has had a series of run-ins with the law and recently completed a month of house-arrest after being convicted of theft for stealing a $2,500 necklace from a west coast store.

Now, according to TMZ, salesman Stephen Clark says he's owed money from the Mean Girls star after she purchased speakers and audio/video equipment from him - which he later installed.

He says she never paid the bill and, as a result, is demanding $1,180 for both the equipment and labour costs.

The case comes just days after Lohan claimed she could not afford to privately see a therapist as part of her probation conditions.

She made the assertion wearing Christian Louboutin Madame Butterfly boots, which retail for nearly two thousand US dollars.
