The film, which won Annette Bening a Golden Globe and stars
Julianne Moore as her on-screen partner, follows the story of when
their children track down their biological father and bring him
into the family's lives.
Last weekend, during the 22nd annual ceremony, it won the
outstanding film award for fair representation of gay and lesbian
characters.
It was nominated for four Oscars earlier this year, including
Best Picture.
The film, which cost $4 million (£2.5 million) to make, has so
far grossed $22 million worldwide.
