Sabrina Clark pleaded guilty to assault when she appeared at
Canterbury Magistrates Court, last week.
According to website Kent Online, Clark attacked her pregnant ex,
Sammy Jo Kelly, on March 20 after seeing her with her teenage
brother at Vivid nightclub in Herne Bay.
Intoxicated with alcohol, Clark followed them outside and
confronted them.
There, she reportedly said that she hoped Kelly's baby died before
punching her in the face and stomach, resulting in bruising, a
black eye and painful stomach cramps.
Clark was arrested the next day and later charged.
Kelly, who was three months pregnant at the time, was rushed to
hospital for checks on the unborn child, who survived.
Magistrates handed Clark a 12 month conditional discharge and she
was ordered to pay £85 costs and £50 compensation.
Defending, Phil Rowley said: "It is an unfortunate set of
circumstances. The defendant regrets her brief loss of self
control.
"She wants to put this matter behind her."
