Set a date for the Diversity Role Models Carnival fundraiser
this October! The evening will help to support Diversity Role
Models in their mission to tackle homophobic bullying in
schools.
As a guest you'll be treated to an evening of champagne and
canapés in a venue that boasts some of the most amazing views of
London. Experience vocal performances from Alison Moyet in the
company of a host of celebrity invitees, including Lily Allen,
Michelle Dockery and Sue Perkins.
You will be able to have a go at some of the celebrity-hosted
carnival stalls, and have the opportunity to take part in an
auction to bid on some amazing items. These include an original
Grayson Perry ceramic, a day at the races with Clare Balding and
tea with Michelle Dockery.
Diversity Role Models is an organisation which actively seeks to
prevent homophobic bullying in UK schools by educating all young
people about differences in sexuality and gender identity. Their
approach is to communicate with students directly, by holding
workshops in which positive role models are used counter negative
stereotypes. After participating in these workshops 94% of students
say that they would treat an LGBT person better in the
future.
The Diversity Role Models Carnival will take place at 7.30 on
Thursday 25 October at Paramount on Oxford Street. Tickets are
priced at £95 each and will help to fund the amazing work that
Diversity Role Models do.
