Following a frantic bidding war over the apostrophe formerly
owned by bookseller Waterstones, monthly lesbian and bi
magazine DIVA has been successful and will be re-branded as DI'VA
this May, DIVA can report.
The hopefully controversial and highly newsworthy move, which is
likely to cost very large amounts of money without generating any
income at all as far as we can tell, will nevertheless prompt a
whole lot of comment pieces about silly punctuation issues around
the internet, which can only be considered a good thing.
Rumours that the glossy's sibling publication, online news site
pinkpaper.com was considering re-branding as pink'spapers'.com are
as yet unconfirmed.
