The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo is today on the brink of making
a decision regarding a new, even more elaborate tattoo, DIVA can
report.
Made-up computer hacker Lisbeth Salander, pictured here deep in
thought about the proposed inking, was seen earlier this morning
entering a well-known tattoo emporium in Camden, north London, to
look through a number of ring-binders featuring possible
designs.
"She's quite a ditherer," giggled tattoo emporium assistant
Tara-Lou Linklater, following Salander's visit. "She looked at a
whole bunch of different sleeve designs, most of them featuring
tigers peeking out from behind heavy foliage, and eventually seemed
to settle on the albino tiger one. We were putting a few dates in
the diary for her to come in to make a start on it, when she
changed her mind, leapt up and threw herself headfirst through the
window at the front of the shop. That does happen a lot, mind you.
Choosing the right tattoo is a really big decision - I took almost
an hour picking mine."
"I guess it's an even bigger decision for TGWTDT," added
emporium owner Ian Toad. "What with the international interest
that's been shown in her dragon tattoo and everything. It's almost,
like, defined her."
Bystanders report that Salander was uninjured by the ordeal and
disappeared up the road towards a cafe that does really good vegan
muffins, where she could have a herb tea and think about which arm
to get the tattoo on and whether or not it would be cool to get one
of Marilyn Monroe on her inner thigh.
More news as we get it.
