BEAUTY: Cindy Crawford’s Meaningful Beauty range

)

The Meaningful Beauty range has changed my life.

I’m not joking, it actually has, a little bit. I am not generally one for messing about with cleansing, toning, moisturising etc, tending to slap on some bog-standard moisturiser when my skin felt dry but otherwise not really bothering. When Cindy Crawford, or rather her range of beauty products, found its way to my desk, however, I decided I needed to pick up my game a bit.

And it really has made a difference. If you can overlook the name, the Meaningful Beauty range is really good. There is a night fluid (for at night) and a daily moisture fluid for during the day with SPF8, which is brilliant. There is a separate décolleté crème for your neck and chest area, a little tube of crème especially for your eye area and even a glowing serum for special occasions, which is great. Plus there is a cleanser of course, and a really nice mask treatment that isn’t messy and doesn’t leave your face feeling dried out.

I’ve been using the range for about a fortnight and it really has made a positive difference. My skin feels smoother and more hydrated (duh) and there are psychological effects too. I would never utter the phrase ‘because you’re worth it’ without a heavy dose of sarcasm, but it does make me feel good to take care of my skin a bit more.

The range looks good too, a little clinical, in a good way, with white and silver tubes. The introductory kit is £29.99 (a 30 day supply) and, particularly if you’re like me and tend to neglect this stuff, I'd highly recommend it.
