Next stop was a three-and-a-half-year stint as advertising manager and then commercial director at the Pink Paper. She joined Millivres in 1994 to work on Gay Times and Diva, and set up the company's marketing department.
A postgraduate in Marketing, she’s also a keen guitarist, footballer and skateboarder. Kim’s also written short stories, features and reviews for Diva and the Pink Paper. Kim and her partner have a young daughter.
Jane CzyzselskaEditor
Jane Czyzselska Jane has written for Diva since 1994, and joined as its editor on April Fool’s Day 2004. An auspicious day for her (it’s her mum’s birthday), she waved her freelance career as a journalist for The Times, the Independent and Horse & Hound goodbye. She loves: dancing, the smell of wet pinewood, Japanese tattoos, Mies Van der Rohe and Britt Ekland in The Wicker Man. She hates: not being able to speak Spanish.
Louise CarolinDeputy Editor
Louise Carolin Louise has written for Diva since 1994, and joined the staff fin 2001. In the 1980s, she was a member of the collectives which produced the cult lesbian and gay magazines Shocking Pink and Square Peg. During a career best described as ‘chequered’, she’s also worked at the Lewisham Pizza Hut, Camberwell Music Library and Brixton Town Centre Management. She loves: pug dogs, 60s’ soul, the London Eye, red lipstick and her period. She hates: text speak and inconsiderate yobs who cycle on pavements.
Maggie TraversAdvertising and Customer Care
Maggie Travers Maggie was a call-centre supervisor for Granada TV with a team of 30 before moving to Millivres Prowler Group in 1999. As Advertising Manager of Diva, she’s seen income and pagination grow to its highest-ever level. Affectionately known as ‘The Magga’, you may have seen her on the lesbian scene, and if you haven't, chances are you soon will.
